Student Legal & Mediation Services welcomes our new Administrative Assistant I, Orlando Gray. He is a recent graduate from SHSU with a degree in Criminal Justice. Orlando is from Dallas, Texas and has one older sister. Orlando love sports and enjoys watching his favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys, whenever they are on. He refused to acknowledge that Texas has any other sports teams when asked what he thought about the other teams.
As a student, at Sam Houston State University, Orlando was a member of Alpha Phi Alpha and the National Association of Blacks in Criminal Justice where he served as Director of Community Service for each organization. He truly exemplifies the motto of SHSU, “The Measure of a Life is Its Service.” He was also a member of the SHSU Honors College. Orlando aspires to be a special education teacher with his dream of being a principal of an alternative school. He has always loved working with disadvantaged students and wants to make an impact in their lives.
As a member of the SLMS team, Orlando works to the absolute best of his ability to provide exceptional quality service to the students of SHSU. He fondly remembers his time as a student and wishes to grace each student that we serve as SLMS with a bit of his experience and to make their experience that much better.
