Student Legal and Mediation Services welcomes one of its newest student assistants: Kaily Santos.
Kaily is a native of Huntsville, and graduated from Huntsville High School. She is a criminal justice major with a minor in psychology. She originally came to Sam Houston State University because of its nationally-ranked criminal justice program.
Kaily plans to graduate in the spring of 2018, and hopes that her work at Student Legal and Mediation Services will open doors for her in the criminal justice field. In her future career she hopes to become a law enforcement officer, to one day be a homicide detective, and later become a Federal Agent for the FBI Behavior Analysis Unit.
In her free time, Kaily enjoys watching TV shows and movies, including How to Get Away with Murder, The Following, Criminal Minds, The Little Mermaid, Pocahontas, and DC and Marvel movies. She also enjoys listening to her favorite musicians, including Sam Smith and Bruno Mars.
Some little known facts about Kaily include that she is a certified cosmetologist, she went to regionals for three years on her high school power lifting team, and her favorite color is lime green.
